bambi: Yeah, long time indeed…* Deep sigh*

Friendster: Hey you sound so low…

Bambi: Yeah she does…Well anyway, wont you be angry that we only come back now?

Friendster: Duh! I’ll just be wasting my energy, I’m already used to you anyway…So how’re you?

Bambi Angeli: Well, I really don’t know…Tired and sad perhaps is the best description especially bambi I think…

bambi: *niff* right,  first off, our puppy ‘Papap” died…he  was supposed to be the pet for our Learning Xyk, and now…*sniff*…he’s gone, I lost a playmate…. 

Friendster: oh, that’s really sad to hear…And is there anything more?

Bambi: Well let me tell it since I think I’m the only one who still has the energy to tell so…(whispers: you see they were really sad to lose the opportunity for the 2nd time…)

Friendster: Ok, I see, It’s panic again right?

Bambi: huhuhuhuhuhu…*nods head vigorously*

Friendster: But I thought you joined the contest in their fan profile, there are no winners yet right?

Bambi Angeli: Yep, but as if we still have a chance…They have so much fans who joined, we are just but a fraction…So were not really that hopeful anymore, plus we have an exam on that day…

Bambi: And speaking of exam we have a lot of requirements to comply too…we are really so stressed now…Not to mention “annoyed” (this is the new expression now coined by Xyk Pipz c/o Thorndike, lol) by a lot of tests that were not pushed through when we could have spend the time studying those for other things…

Friendster: Whew…Really that’s heartbreaking…but that’s why you’re a student, you have to bear with that….Anyway that’s for your own good….But hmm, *raises eyebrow* Bambi when did you start being interested with studies eh?

Bambi Angeli: Hahahaha, yep…Well she’s been keeping me lately in studying...Idk, I’m just really out of focus lately…

Friendster: Oooohhhh…That’s very interesting to hear…

Bambi: *w/ pride in voice* yep! You think I can’t be good in studying too? hmpft! See I can help too…

Friendster: Oh well, Oh well…Yeah, congratz then…Its just nice to see you in good terms…But anyway do you want to hear another interesting story?

Bambi: What’s that?

Friendster: Do you know that there are people who really bother to read our nonsensical convos?

Bambi Angeli: What??? Hahahahaha! I didn’t know that! Seriously?

Friendster: Yep, And do you still remember in our first convo? (refer Friendster and Bambi Anthology Pt.1)

Bambi: I think I know what you mean…The one that said that whoever read this without commenting is not different from us? *sly smile*

Friendster: Exactly! *rubs hands*

Bambi Angeli: Oh well then, I think our reader (or is it readers?) just reads this when it is already blogged right? Which means we must follow this up immediately right sissies?!

Bambi: Oh yeah! Agree!

bambi: *nods head weakly*

Friendster: Wow! You’re really improving guys! See? You could also agree on something…

Bambi Angeli: Oh yeah whatever, lol…Anyway I think we have to end this now or else it’ll not fit again…

Friendster: Ya right, like the last 2…Anyway, you 2 take care of lil bambi…Anyway, bambi, there could be other chances next time ok? Maybe that next time you’ll be in a much better place to meet them…So, guys this turned out to be happy convo…I hope you’re sadness will ease away and you’ll gain back your energy…

Bambi: Thank you! *smiles*

Friendster: Aw, nice to hear from you…cheer up guys! And anyway congratz on your college days…you’re only 1st-runner up right? but I believe you gained more friends?

Bambi Angeli: That’s right…My babies might have not placed in their contest but I’m already proud of their improvement considering our short duration of practice…We’ll just make it up next year w/ the new freshies…And, and, and…I also want to thank someone out there who helped us too when we (I’m not reffering to my sissies, obv, they’re not born yet at that time, lol) were still babies ourselves…

Friendster: Hahaha! You were too eager to write last time that it didn’t fit anymore

 

 

 

Bambi Angeli: Ya right…Its because I didn’t write it immediately at you remember?

 

 

 

Friendster: Oh yeah that’s it! So how you’ve been doing? You seem very excited to right now ha? uuuiii…

 

 

 

Bambi: Oh yeah because I just celebrated my debut?

 

 

 

Friendster: Really? I thought you would just have a modest party?

 

 

 

 

bambi: we thought so too…but it turn out to be much more than we really expected…

 

 

 

 

Friendster: That sounded great! So mind retelling?

 

 

 

Bambi Angeli: Well my first surprise for the day was a box of yema from mame Krunchy…You know it was our very long plan to make some yema and I was really touched she let Shekinah brought it to me very early in the morning (tnx mame!)

 

 

 

Bambi: And then after that we had a spaghetti party with the Xyk Pipz at Kristines which really turned out to be a very nice place, we had nice background! Hahaha… And my classmates also tried the Soju, but as usual we didn’t tried it…

 

 

 

 

Bambi Angeli: Of course noh! And then after that I had my second surprise…I finally found my Theories in Personality book long lost to be just in Bakers…It was really a relief…

 

 

 

 

Friendster: Hahaha! oh so punny!

 

 

Bambi: And then came my 3^rd surprise…Kuya said she cant go to my party earlier since she had to baby sit baby JAD, and I thought I wouldn’t see her for the rest of the day…But it turned out she went to Bakers to see if the people are going to school and found out that they would not…Well at least we saw each other, that probably was the divine intervention for us to see each other on my bday (love you kuya kim J)…

 

 

 

bambi: SO it turn out only me Shoi and Dian went to school for the KASAMA General Assembly, me as an SPF. Well I really didn’t expect that my SPF friends would made something for me so that was my 4^th surprise…J

 

 

 

Friendster: Aw, that’s sweet…

 

 

 

Bambi Angeli: And then after that my 5^th surprise…Tika texted me! Yeah I admit I was kinda sad she didn’t greet me the last time I checked on you, but she remembered! Yay I’m so happy!

 

 

 

 

Friendster: Of course Tika is really a good friend, I can attest that…J

 

 

 

 

Bambi: Yep, of course…And so after the Xyk Pipz, Spf, and Tika we went out with my High School friends, the Hertzians...Well we just had a small pizza party at Park2Go and as we went there we found out there was a Disco! Haahaha…But we didn’t join anyway we just enjoyed each others company…

 

 

 

Bambi Angeli: And then another surprise. I am always with my sister and I thought she already gave too much considerable time in setting up the events on my birthday and all that, so I really didn’t expect she made something for me…It was a colorful blue-covered booklet with 18 of my childhood pictures…And those were really hilariously remarkable pictures I was really shy that the people who signed in it, (Gems and Hertzians) saw it...Well I cant do anything about that anymore except to thank them especially my sister…(love you ate Aya)

 

 

 

Friendster: So that was the 6^th surprise right? Not bad really and your sister made a good job filling up the 6^th so you can just multiply it to 3 and taddaaa it is 18!

 

 

 

 

Bambi: Exactly, I thought the same too…But as I look at it again 1/3 of it already happened last Saturday w/ Papa and Jr, the 2/3 as I told you were the 6 surprises I got and the last part, was the best part…

 

 

 

 

Friendster: And what was it?

 

 

 

 

Bambi Angeli: Well from my pizza party we went home to my Bhauz just bringing some ice cream not expecting much to happen anymore since it was already late, I was even kinda sad the lights were already off when we arrived…

 

 

 

bambi: And suddenly when we opened the door, there was Ate Krysta and our little receiving area was decorated with dim lights and I was really overwhelmed especially when I saw them all dressed up and then they gave out their messages and sang Happy birthday to me w/ a cute cake…

 

 

 

Friendster: WOW! They did that for you? You must really have felt special…

 

 

 

bambi: Of course I really did…J But I did not let them outdid me too with their dresses so me and ate Aya dressed up too, and what would you expect later, Photo Op! Hahaha…

 

 

 

Bambi: That’s right! And some of it was fairy-tale themed which really made me happy…

 

 

 

Friendster: Hmm, now I’m curious…So you’re posting this up?

 

 

 

Bambi Angeli: Of course! And you know where to find the rest...

To be 17 (for the last time)

Time is running indeed so fast, I can barely keep up. With so many deadlines to meet (yeah, I know its just the start of the sem) and our room still messy (I just move out [into another room] w/ my sister ) and so many friends to meet again (the best part :D) I haven’t really took time to pause and absorb everything.

It never really struck me until the 17th of June. I was like oh my, this will be the last 17 wherein I’ll be 17. But then the next day (the 18th of course) it seems everything is just the same as it is which actually made me feel a lot better. Well 18 is just fine, lol.

Anyway, I’m never really the one who gets preoccupied with age (duh, as if I’m that old) it’s just that it has always been said it is different to be 18. Maybe with the added privileges and/or responsibilities? Well that’s still something I have to figure out of course.

I remember though I used to fancy the idea of having a grandiose debut. I get to design my gown (of course!), invite all my friends, 18 candles, 18 roses (w/ my crushes, lol), my fave band playing, (ahem panic ahem) the works (and fireworks) and of course my family.

Obviously I didn’t expect too that that would be a reality. What with being far from my family and most of my childhood friends. But then I thought too just like in a gift, all the perks of my childhood fantasy are just the wrapper and the ribbon (ok yeah let’s include the box too) neatly made-up but what I would be excited for really is what’s inside. And guess what, it’s my friends and family, the gift. And think about it, I already receive some of it in advance.

Thank you Papa and Jr for coming over and for the sumptuous salu-salo that really made us feel like kings when we had our chow. And even though you only stayed for a night it already made me very happy. Thank you too ate Aya for being my personal eventologist (lol)  and for being my sister (lalalala lalalalee). Thank you Gems especially ate Krysta for our joyous celebration and get-together, you really are my precious stones. And thank you in advance to all my friends here in Iligan, Xyk Pipz and Hzians [Iligan Chapter,hehe] (don’t you worry I’m not pressuring you, haha).

But of course we can’t get all the things we want. Well at least not physically. But I know in heart and spirit they will always be with me. To all my family and friends, Belbedurkadaz, Hzians, ate Em2 I’m gonna miss you on my birthday. And most of all Mama, of course I wish you were here, but the time we spent there together is already much more than a birthday present, I thank you and I love you.

And of course I thank all of the people who help made me the person I am now. It has been 18 long years. And I hope there are more 18 years to come so that I can still be blessed by your love and company and would be able to reciprocate. And ultimately to the Lord our God for bringing me into life and making it more lively and lovely. From cherubim to seraphim you mold me. (and I  hope I would be worthy to the tagline I assume, lol)

Bambi: what the! that was the corniest stop-you-are-corny statements i've ever heard...

Bambi Angeli: Oh well yeah, anyway we're not talking about corns here...Cut that...

bambi: yeah, I agree...But really contrary to your belief, there are RICE in here...And really we can eat anything we want too, or it will jut be thrown away...

Bambi: Yep, epecially there in NY...That was the best ever...

Bambi Angeli: Mam Nonie, Sir Danny and Tito (lemme just call him that way) Ibong we're really the best hosts ever...
